"The Heart Chakra"

The Heart Chakra is the centre of love, forgiveness and compassion. It represents the coexistence of our body and our spirit. It is also the centre of self acceptance: the place where we find balance.

Hazel, the tree associated with the Heart Chakra, symbolizes wisdom, creativity, healing, marriage and inspiration. The Wolf, the Great Teacher, also symbolizes wisdom, and loyalty. My painting brings all three symbols together in peaceful balance and harmony.

I am working on the series right now, actually. I have a passion for tree mythology, and a while ago, I found a tree that corresponds to each of the 7 Chakras. I have finished the Root, Third Eye, and Heart Chakras. They are in "The Chakra Paintings" folder in my gallery.
